3D Pen & Crystal Resin

Proposing an innovative 3d pen used mix with crystal resin on lace.

Using the lamp of my Grand-Parent’s as a reference, I traced the lamp-base with a 3D pen. On the first stage, the plastic Filament looks were delicate but way too fragile to be worn. Having experimented in the past fabric modeling with crystal resin on objects, I decided to apply this technic to the 3D pen construction. After many trials with different kind of fabrics and different quantities of resin and dryers, I opted for the use of stretch lace fabric which doesn’t break.  To have the possibility to attach these artefacts on the fabric, I had to stitch first the lace on the structure and after change the quantity of the liquid from the notice. Indeed, crystal resin is most of the time used for objects as jewelry. The perfect recipe was to add same quantity of resin as the dryer. Finally, the lamp-base artefact could be stitched by hand on the lace sleeve of the body part and on my stockings.
